James E. Lewis, Managing Director
Prior to founding PFI in 1993, Jim was an investment banker specializing in asset based financing for small-medium size businesses. He founded and was President of Middle Atlantic Capital Inc. from 1990 to 1994. Previously, Jim served in senior corporate finance positions with major regional and national investment banking firms. From 1971-1977, he formed and managed a $225 million corporate loan division of GE Capital, providing funding to companies of all sizes. Jim received a B.A. in economics from DePauw University and an M.B.A. in finance from The University of Chicago. He was one of the original members of the board of directors of the International Factoring Association. Jim has been recognized by Marquis in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Banking and Finance and Who’s Who in the East.

Sydney G. Willson, III, Managing Director
Syd, a founder of PFI, has extensive entrepreneural experience. In 1981, he purchased Williams, Brown and Earle, then a distributor of audio visual equipment to business and industry, educational institutions, government, hospitals and other public agencies. The company had been losing money on $2 million of annual sales. Syd restored the business to profitability and with aggressive marketing and another acquisition, increased sales to $4.8 million. He sold the business in 1990. From 1965-1981, Syd was involved in sales and marketing of educational media as a sales representative, sales manager and consultant. He received his B.A. degree in political science from Dickinson College.

Henry H. Beckler, Chairman and Director
Henry has been active in factoring and asset based finance since 1989 as a founder of Star Financial LP, Star Funding LLC and Star Business & Industrial Development Corporation. He joined PFI in 2004 with the merger of Star Funding into PFI. Henry began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, specializing in loan restructuring. In 1976, he and partners purchased a bankrupt food company, which was restored to profitability and sold to Hershey Foods, Inc. Simultaneously, Henry was Director of Corporate Special Services at Bank of Delaware. He presently is President and Chairman of Corporate Holding Services, Inc. of Wilmington, Delaware. The Governor of Delaware has appointed Henry as a member of the Delaware Economic Financial Advisory Council. He also serves as a director and member of the loan committee of Wilmington Economic Development Corporation, as President of the World Trade Center Institute of Delaware and as a director of the Port of Wilmington Maritime Society. Henry received his B.A. from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from New York University.

Alfred B. Buzzard, Jr., Operations Manager
Prior to joining PFI in 1994, Al was a credit consultant assisting small businesses to set up and maintain effective credit and collection departments. From 1982 to 1992, he was credit manager for a national wholesale tire distributor with sales of approximately $50 million. From 1966 to 1991, Al was a Vice President of Continental Bank in Philadelphia working with small to medium-sized companies. He received a B.S. degree in accounting from LaSalle University.

Robin J. Belack, Credit and Collections Manager
Robin joined PFI in early 1999. For the previous nine years, she had been Comptroller for two steel distribution companies, developing and implementing accounting and credit and collection systems for each, including inventory management and controls and actively working with delinquent accounts to assure payment. She began her career with another steel distributor, beginning as an administrative assistant and rising to assistant comptroller. Robin attended The University of Miami School of Business.
